Mark Woodall is the Georgia Legislative Chair for the Sierra Club. A tree farmer from Talbot County, he grew up paddling the Flint River. His first lobbying task was to ask then-Gov. Jimmy Carter to veto the Corp of Engineers Sprewell Bluff Dam on the Flint River. He served as Lt. Governor Pierre Howard's appointee to the Georgia Hazardous Waste Management Authority.
